What is a Duct Seal?

Duct sealing is a process that involves sealing holes, cracks, and leaks in a home’s ductwork to improve air quality and HVAC efficiency. It can be done by a technician and typically takes about an hour.

Here are some benefits of duct sealing:

Energy Savings
Duct sealing can help homeowners save an average of 20% on their energy costs.

Improved Air Quality
Duct sealing can reduce dust and pollutants in the air.

Longer HVAC System Life
Duct sealing can help heating and cooling systems work less to maintain air temperature.

Reduced Air Pollution
Sealing ducts can reduce the amount of energy needed to heat or cool a home, which can reduce air pollution.

Some signs of leaky air ducts include: Uninsulated or unsecured access panels, Visible gaps between joints, Cracks in the ductwork, Clogged air filters, and High energy bills in both winter and summer.
